The objective of the property owners (the Tripletts, owners of Nature's Safeway Natural Pest Control) was to screen the view from their new decking and picture windows in the house from the neighbors across the narrow part of the waterway behind their house. The problem was resolved with a row of Silver Buttonwood standards down the seawall with Dwarf Fakahatchee Grass as the layer under them. This put small trees in line to block critical views, but allows a view of the water above the bunch grasses. The end of the deck is screened with Simpson Stopper and Seagrapes and Cocoplum add diversity to the setting. Wax Myrtle and wildflowers added to the front yard provide benefit for songbirds, butterflies, and color.
