As you are no doubt aware, the COVID-19 virus is having a significant impact on many communities around the country. We have been closely monitoring the situation – including the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other health organizations.

We have developed a pro-active response plan that takes steps to ensure that we help protect the health and safety of our staff and customers. We’d like to update you on a few of these precautions:

Free Delivery – First and foremost, Wilcox Nursery is 100% committed to doing our part to support social distancing. To that end, for the duration of this crisis, we are going to suspend delivery fees in our normal delivery areas. We strongly recommend that anyone who is at high risk for the Coronavirus, stay home and for everyone else that does not want to leave home or come into the nursery, you can call in payments or mail checks to avoid direct contact.

Enhanced Cleanliness – Our standard cleaning procedures have always used EPA-certified cleansers and disinfectants to maintain the cleanliness of our nursery. But, in this new situation, we have implemented incremental cleaning protocols to increase the frequency of cleaning (common surfaces, handwashing & disinfecting, etc.) to help ensure we minimize the risk of any transmission of germs or viruses. Your health and safety are our top concern.

We Remain Open to Serve You – The mission of our nursery is to “help our neighbors protect the environment and species diversity, one yard at a time”. We plan to remain open during our normal hours of operation and will notify you if there are any changes. We will be here to help you design true sense of place.
