Following April's Flock Talk- Intro to Birding, Wilcox will be hosting two guided field trips to put what you learned into practice at some of the county's finest birding spots! See the details for the two trips below:
Sunday, April 21st- Sawgrass Lake Park 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Wednesday, April 24th- Fort DeSoto 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Wear comfortable shoes. It is also recommended to wear sun protective clothing including hats. Bring you binoculars, water, sunscreen, bug spray. For beginners, it is recommended to leave your camera at home so you can focus on learning.
A portion of the ticket fee will be donated to our local Audubon chapters. Tickets are limited to 10 per trip, one ticket per person, and the registration fees for those tickets are non-refundable. Once the first 10 tickets have been purchased, the item will remain open for pre-order, which will act as a waitlist. If there are any cancellations from the main list, we will pull from the pre-order list to fill the empty spots. The remaining pre-order ticket fees are refundable, and will be processed after the field trip has been held.
