Beach Mistflower, Ageratum maritimum, is a mounding, decumbent perennial with 'fuzzy' small clusters of lavender, blue, or white flowers. The plants grown in cultivation are lavender. The flowers that are produced throughout the warm months are attractive to skipper butterflies. This plant, besides being a good bedding plant in well-drained landscape sites with partial to full sun also make good container plants to cascade down the side of a pot.
