Cabbage Palm Fern, Phlebodium aureum, is a bold 'footed' fern with fronds 2-3 feet in length. They are epiphytic by nature but are adaptable to bedding in the ground. Plants spread and form small patches. Foliage dies back in the late winter or early spring just prior to emergence of new season foliage. This is an easy to grow dynamic fern that should be used in more landscaping!
