Nemastylis floridana

Endemic, endangered, perennial wildflower. Prefers full sun to partial shade and flowers open one at a time in the afternoons of late summer or early fall. Stays relatively low to the ground before sending up flower spikes that bend down once they reach a certain height. The flowers are only open for a couple hours at a time. So make sure you get to see it!
