Dwarf Shiny Coffee

Product Description

A highly attractive shade-loving shrub with shiny, deep green leaves. The dwarf 'Little Psycho' variety only gets 3ft tall and wide. Its flowers are small, cream-colored in the spring followed by shiny red fruit in the fall and winter. The flowers and fruit are attractive to pollinators, including our state butterfly, Zebra Heliconia, as well as songbirds. Native coffee plants need moist-average conditions and full shade to dappled or morning sun. It is a host plant for the Coffee Loving Pyrausta Moth.

Super Dwarf is a dwarf variety of shiny coffee that reaches 2-3 feet high and wide.

Wilcox Dwarf is a dwarf variety of shiny coffee developed from plants native to the Wilcox Nursery property. It reaches 3 feet high and wide. It has smaller leaves than shiny coffee and is better adapted to sunny conditions. Plant in full shade to part sun. It can tolerate more sun if given ample water.
