Also called Mayberry, this deciduous native blueberry is found in sandhills and dry forests. It generally reaches 4-7 feet high. The blueberries ripen late spring to early summer. These North Florida plants do best when protected from the harsh afternoon sun and may require regular watering. Plant in shade to part sun and moist to average soils.
