Taxus floridana is an evergreen small tree or large shrub that slowly grows to 12 to 20 feet high and wide. It grows best in part shade and acidic, well-draining. This species is very rare because it is state-listed endangered due to habitat loss. This plant makes an excellent specimen for the native plant aficionado.
