Product Description
Maypop (Passiflora incarnata) is a herbaceous, perennial vine, that grows up to 25 ft. long and climbs with axillary tendrils or sprawls along the ground. Intricate, 3 in., lavender flower are short-stalked from leaf axils. The fruit is a large, orange-yellow berry with edible pulp. This is one of the parent plants in some passionflower hybrids and is a larval plant for Gulf Fritillary, Zebra Heliconia (Zebra Longwing), and Julia Butterflies.
