A perennial north Florida native found in a very small region of north Florida and south Georgia. This yellow coneflower has grass-like leaves with flower stalks reaching 2-4 feet in summer. It flowers summer through fall then dies back over the winter. Requires full sun and constantly wet soils so use it in rain gardens, in drainage ditches, or along freshwater pond or swamp edges.
