Ocean Blue Morning Glory, Ipomea indica, is a large growing and aggressive native morning glory that can grow extensively. It has big showy purple blooms throughout the warm months. Is dependent on moist conditions and full to nearly full sun. Give this huge vine a space of it's own where it can not escape and climb on adjoining trees, shrubs, or the house. It is a nectar plant for Brazilian, Monk, and Mangrove Skipper Butterflies.
