Product Description
Annona glabra
Long-lived native semi-deciduous broadleaf tree. 15-30 (48) ft tall by 15-20 ft wide. Full sun-full shade and moist-wet soils. Very hurricane resistant and salt tolerant. Can be used as a mass planting, Larval food source for Giant sphinx. The Seminole Indians used this plant to make a cleaning product and as a food source (fruits). Seeds are said to be toxic. The fruits have been used to make jelly and custard. Pollinated mostly by beetles.
