Helianthus radula is a very unique native annual wildflower. Unlike most sunflowers, this plant doesn't have the yellow petals, but it still is very attractive to pollinators. Doesn't get much taller than 1-2ft tall. It needs full sun and average to dry soil moisture. Great when planted in sunny, dry, wildflower gardens to add whimsy!
