Symphyotrichum tenuifolium is a perennial, native aster found in Florida's coastal counties. These somewhat scraggly asters generally grow about 2 feet high. They look great planted in groups in a naturalistic pollinator garden. Blooms year-round with tiny white or very pale purple flowers. Adaptable to both moist and dry soil. Salter water inundation tolerant. Host plant for Pearl Crescent Butterfly.
