Seven Year Apple, Casasia clusiifolia, a small, evergreen tree growing 10-12 feet high and 15 feet wide. Blooms with showy, fragrant white flowers year-round. Young fruit is green then turns black when ripe. Plant in part to full sun and average to dry soil. Excellent as a unique specimen tree with high value for wildlife. Fruit is eaten by birds and mammals. It is a host plant for tantalus sphinx moth.
