Solidago stricta is a native perennial winter dormant wildflower. It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist to average soil moisture. This species only reaches 3-5ft tall and spreads 1-2ft. Bright Yellow Goldenrod flowers are striking when in bloom. Moderate salt tolerance. Spreads less aggressively than other goldenrods. The goldenrod soldier beetle is very attracted to this species.
