Ipomopsis rubra is a wWinter dormant biennial wildflower. Beautiful red spikes on whispy leaved stalks. Full sun to very partial sun and prefers average to dry soil. Very attractive to pollinators and migrating hummingbirds. Can reach up to 6ft tall, but usually 4ft. Great to plant in the back of wildflower beds to give height, and plant in masses for a striking display of red waves.
