Pineland Heliotrope, Euploca polyphlla, grows 3-6 inches in height. It is a perennial and a spreading wildflower that grows like a groundcover with ascending or spreading stems and attractive small bright yellow or white flowers. This is a beautiful and very ornamental cover plant that people go crazy for when they see its beauty. Give it rooms to spread and it will make you very happy with its easy growth. It does die back by late winter and should be cut back if needed, so it can regenerate in the spring. Pollinators are attracted to its flowers. It also looks great cascading in a pot.
