Product Details

Most camellia varieties grow 8'-10' tall and 8'-10' wide, and are slow growing. Camellias are best planted in moist, well-drained soil and part shade, as they are not tolerant of the direct Florida afternoon sun. They do need an acidic soil as well, so fertilizers and/or soil amendments are recommended. Frequent watering after planting is important for establishment and vigor. Blooms in Winter or early Spring.

Shishi Gashiri wider than tall, this camellia reaches 4-5 feet high but 6-8 feet wide. It has pink semi-double blooms with yellow anthers that blooms in late fall through early winter.

Yuletide a more columnar shaped shrub reaching 8-10 feet high and 6 feet wide. I has stunning red blooms with yellow anthers. It blooms in early winter just in time for the holidays.

Mine No Yuki is a fall bloomer with a profusion of white double flowers. It reaches 6-8 feet tall and wide with a somewhat willowy habit.
