Scorpiontail (Heliotropium angiospermum) is an annual or short lived perennial. It grows 18-24 inches high and several feet in spread. It is a member of the borage or forget-me-not family. It is very easy growing and has an arching flower spike with small white flowers at the end of the spreading stems. Scorpiontail is popular with butterfly gardeners and is adapted to harsh conditions, partial sun to very sunny conditions and salt air.
