Sea Oats, Uniola paniculata is a coastal grass growing to 3'-4' tall. It needs full sun and dry, very well-drained soil and they can produce their 'oat' flowers year round. This is the most important stabilizer of sand on beach dunes and is used primarily for restoration projects, however makes a spectacular and unique addition to any coastal landscape.
