Product Description
Stoke's Aster, Stokesia laevis, is a low perennial that grows 12-18 in. tall, with a basal cluster of dark-green, lance-shaped leaves. The showy and numerous flowers are 3-4 in. across, with deeply divided blue rays and very prominent blue florets from the disk. Stokes Aster needs an organic soil and regular moisture with partial sun. This is a wildflower that although it is very popular, only barely occurs in Florida in a single glade in North Florida, close to Georgia. As with the aster group, this is a great butterfly attracting wildflower.
