Tea Olive, Osmanthus fragrans is a wonderfully fragrant blooming shrub that grows 4'-30' tall and about 8' wide. They grow with a natural columnar shape and thus do not require much pruning, though they can easily be kept at a lower height. They prefer full sun or partial shade, and do best in well-drained soil. They bloom with clusters of small white flowers that are fragrant with a sweet smell.
