Native annual wildflower. Like other milkweeds, this is the larval host for the Monarch Butterfly (pictured on left), and is the most toxic of our native milkweeds. 1-3ft tall and 1ft wide. Slender leaves give a graceful look especially when the white flowers are in bloom. Thrives in a full to partial sun location, with a moist-average soil. Not salt tolerant by any means. While it is found naturally in every county, besides the Monroe Keys, it is not grown commercially very often. Fantastic and unique addition to your wildflower garden.
