Coastal Allamanda

Coastal or Mangrove Allamanda, Pentalinon luteum, is a showy coastal, tropical vine from south Florida that is adapted to warm nearly frost free locations. It is tolerant of salt air and needs sunny locations to thrive. The large 2 inch flowers are bright yellow and occur throughout the year. The foliage is rich looking and glossy. Stems can grow 20 to 40 feet in length.

Plant on a trellis, on an arbor, or as privacy cover on a chain link fence.
