Eastern Smooth Beardtongue, Penstemon laevigatus, is a rare wildflower in Florida occurring in only a couple of counties near the Georgia / Florida line. The pink flowers are pollinated by bees and the basal foliage is accented by a reddish colored mid-vein.Plant this wildflower in sun to partial sun and well drained, moist to average conditions.
