Seaside Ambrosia, Ambrosia hispida, is a very unique looking groundcover that has deeply cut leaves. It is a native of coastal dunes with deep drainage and full sun. It is a fast and very aggressive grower and should be used only with planning for it's growth. It will need regular maintenance to keep it in bounds, but is a great ground cover for salt air exposed landscapes that the gardener wants something very different in appearance and make for incredible contrast.
