Giant Apostle Iris

Neomarica caerula Regina upright evergreen perennial bulb-like plant growing to 4 feet tall and about half as wide. The leaves are sword-like iris foliage, dark green arising from rhizomes near the ground and grow to 4 feet tall and 2 inches wide. They add a structural element to the garden. Plant in full sun to light shade. Prefers a moist soil but tolerates short periods of drought; grows best with weekly waterings.
