Perennial wildflower. Native to wetlands in north/central FL. 3-4' tall when in flower and has aggressive runners. Likes full-part sun, and moist to wet soil. Showy deep pink/purple flowers from late summer-fall. Cold tolerant, and is attractive to pollinators and hummingbirds, especially the Ruby-throated hummingbirds.
