Sleeping Hibiscus, Hibiscus furcellatus, is a short-lived perennial wildflower, blooming off and on throughout the warm months. It can grow upwards of 6' tall prefers full sun and moist soils. It has large showy pink/purple flowers and makes a wonderful ornamental addition to any moist areas. This plant enters a period of dormancy during the winter months.
