Funastrum clausum

Evergreen twining vine in the milkweed family with large clusters of flowers. Prefers moist soil. Can be planted in shade to full sun. Blooms most of the year. Larval host for monarch, queen, and soldier butterflies. Can cover 20-30ft of fence, or trellising. This is a great plant for caterpillars to use while your milkweed plants recover. Uncommon in nurseries.
