Quercus michauxii is also called Basket Oak or Cow Oak. A large, deciduous oak that provides great shade. It reaches up to 120 feet when mature. While this plant tolerates wet soil, it can adapt to dry conditions once established. Plant in part to full sun and wet to average soil. Great easement oak because it grows upright until middle age, when the canopy spreads.
