Chrysopsis scabrella is a biennial wildflower with a basal rosette of leaves and a tall spike of yellow flowers. Reaches 1-2 foot wide and 2-3 feet tall. Found in scrub and sandhills, this plant prefers full sun and very-well draining, dry soil. Blooms in fall. Looks great planted in cluseters in a wildflower garden or in a full-sun planter.
