Saltwater False Willow

Baccharis angustifolia is a small, evergreen shrub. It tends to be upright and wispy, reaching 4-8 ft tall and 3-5 ft wide. It likes full sun, and moist to average soil. It will tolerate salt or brackish water flooding. This is a unique addition to coastal wildflower garden. Its fragrant, yellow flowers bloom in the fall. Showy masses of silvery seeds on female plants provide food for wildlife.
