Product Description
Black Mulberry, Morus nigra, is native to Southwest Asia. It has long been popular in cultivation and is widely distributed in use. Black mulberry can be distinguished from native Red Mulberry by the uniformly hairy lower leaf surface.The tree prefers sun and moist soil, is fast growing and is winter dormant. Black Mulberry is considered the finest of the species of fruiting Mulberries for the quality of it's fruit. The fruit is bore in Spring and early Summer, and is a favorite of a variety of wildlife.
