Sea Oxeye Daisy

Sea Oxeye Daisy, Borrichia frutescens, is a coastal marsh wildflower in the aster family. It has yellow rayed flowers and gray green foliage. The plant grows to 3 feet or better and colonizes or spreads readily in moist soil. It is associated with Mangroves and can tolerate inundation from salt water and wind. Butterflies are attracted to the sunny flowers. Be sure to give Sea Oxeye Daisy room to spread in the garden and a moist, sunny location.
