Small Flower Pawpaw
Product Description
Long-lived perennial deciduous tree. Native to a select number of panhandle counties, it can be grown in Pinellas with no problems, but part shade and mulch is recommended. It likes a flooded- regularly moist soil, and can reach 15-20ft tall. Forms a long taproot that makes it difficult to transplant, so plant accordingly. Produces small, red flowers, and green edible fruit. Pollinated mostly by beetles.
