Wafer Ash

Wafer-ash, Ptelea trifoliata, is a wide, deciduous shrub that provides fall color. Grows 5-15 ft tall and 10-15 wide. Can grow in shade to full sun and average to dry soil. Fragrant flower clusters are followed by interesting hop-like fruit in the fall. Host plant for Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly.
