Pityopsis graminifolia var. tracyi is a perennial wildflower that grows in clumps. The small yellow blooms grow in clusters at the top of each plant. It flowers late fall and winter. This variety has very silvery leaves and prefers moist to average soil with part to full sun. It is drought tolerant once established. It works well mixed with other wildflowers to keep your garden blooming through winter.
