Product Description

Magnolia grandiflora is widely known for its huge, white, fragrant flowers. The iconic tree has large, deep green, glossy leaves that make it stand out in the landscape. Magnolias prefer part to full sun and moist to average soil. They are excellent along pond edges or bioswales. The cone like seedpods contain large red seeds and are very attractive to songbirds.

D.D. Blanchard grows to 50 feet or more, with a wide crown crown. It works well as a shade tree.

Bracken's Brown Beauty grows to 30 to 50 feet high and 15-30 feet wide, with an oval crown.

Little Gem reaches up to 20 feet high and 8-12 feet wide with a tight, conical crown. It is a wonderful specimen tree or privacy barrier. The cultivar originated from seed collected in Candor, North Carolina in 1952.
