Coastalplain Honeycombhead

Balduina angustifolia is a native annual or biennial wildflower. It has clusters of yellow blooms that reach up to 3 feet tall. It prefers full sun and dry, very sandy soil. It can self-seed but requires open, sandy sites, so propagation in trays may have better results. It is named for the seed heads (pictured).
