Sugar Apple

Sugar Apple, Annona squamosa is a deciduous fruiting tree, growing up to 15'-20' tall. They are well-adapted to well-drained soils, however will be faster growing with more frequent watering (they are not tolerant of sitting water, though). They bloom March-June and produce fruit mid-summer through fall. Fruit are most commonly eaten fresh and have a sweet, pleasant flavor, sometimes used in ice creams and juices.
