Chapman’s Oak (Chapman)
Product Description
A small-medium shrubby oak that reaches up to 15 ft high. It forms thickets so works well as a screening plant. Requires full sun and dry-very dry soil. The acorns have value to birds and mammals. It's a host plant for several butterlies including duskywings and hairstreaks. Ideal if you want to add an oak for the wildlife value but have limited space.
