Swale Planting Nursery Tour

by | Nov 24, 2020 | Native Plants, Nursery Tour

A swale is a great way to divert and collect water around the landscape, and it offers an opportunity to plant moisture-loving plants like Leather Ferns, Rouge Plants and Cocoplums! Over the course of our Nursery Tour Tuesday series, we will be walking through some of the growing or mature native plantings around the nursery. Many of these plantings mimic ecosystems or specific conditions in landscapes, in order to give a more full idea of how to incorporate native plants into your own yard. This program was recorded and produced in partnership with the Pinellas County UF/IFAS Extension.
